萨里大学(University of Surrey)于1966年成为一所大学，目前有9,300名本科生与研究生在唯一的一处校园内学习。校园的环境集中，学术、运动、饮食与娱乐设施都在大多数学生宿舍楼的步行范围之内。大学与500多家公司建立了联系，并致力于为学生提供与工商业新需求密切相关的教育。目前有15,000多名的全日制学生在该校读书，其中的700名是来自其他欧盟国家;1,700名是来自全球129个国家的海外留学生。

萨里大学下设6个学院，均提供大学及研究生教育。它们分别为：文学院、生物医学与生命科学学院、电子与物理学院、工学院、欧洲卫生与医学院、人文科学学院以及管理学院。
