UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS UPDATES

Rolling Application Deadline Extended:  April 1, 2024
  
Applications are still open for many undergraduate programs that have not closed. It's not too late for Fall 2024, so encourage your students to apply as soon possible. Review our undergraduate admissions requirements. For a list of programs that are no longer accepting applications, visit our closed programs website.

International Student ambassadors available for virtual calls with applicants
Students can schedule a virtual call with our international student ambassadors. This is a great way for them to talk with a current UC student and get any questions answered.

Confirmation Deadline: June 1, 2024 at 5:00 PM EST
The confirmation deadline has been extended to June 1 for undergraduate students. However, we encourage international students to confirm as soon as possible to move forward with immigration and scheduling a visa appointment. Therefore, we highly recommend that international students confirm before before May 1. 

Housing Application Now Open
For undergraduate students who have been admitted and accepted their offer, the housing application is now open! All first-year international students are required to live on campus, and this application should be completed as soon as possible for priority selection of available options. 

Admitted Students Next Steps: Recording Available 
UC International Admissions recently hosted an Admitted Students Next Steps Webinar. Topics covered included the new student portal, tips from current international students, and more. If your students missed it or were unable to attend, they can sign up for a later webinar. We are also happy to provide a previous recording on our YouTube page.

GRADUATE ADMISSIONS UPDATES

Decision Turnaround Time
Decision turnaround time varies greatly by program. If students have questions about their admission decision or decision timeline, we recommend contacting the program they applied to.

NACES Evaluation Requirement
All international students who confirm enrollment for Fall 2024 are required to submit an official NACES member transcript evaluation (unless their degree was completed at a US college or university). A document-by-document or general evaluation must be sent directly to UC from a NACES organization. This is due by the first day of classes for the Fall term. More information can be found on the Graduate Transcript Submission Policy Website. 

Fall 2024 Programs Still Accepting Applications
Below is the list of Graduate Programs still open for Fall 2024 and their application deadlines.

• March 31: All Engineering Programs*

• April 15: Applied Economics, MS*, MBA, Business Analytics*, Finance, MS*, Business Information Systems, MS*, Human Resources, MA

Research expenditures at UC and its affiliates reached an unprecedented $699 million in 2023, a 14% increase over the previous year, as the university pursues new innovations across its colleges. UC's research priorities are also reflected in its ranking in the National Science Foundation's Higher Education Research and Development Survey for 2021-22, in which UC improved two spots for public institutions (No. 31) and drove into the top-50 in the overall rankings (No. 49).
