墨尔本大学 【法学院-更新】Semester 2提前截止申请3.28 + 无法直接延期 + Offer lapse date不可延长 + 受影响的课程清单

墨大中今日通知：由于申请爆仓，法学院已于3月28日，提前关闭S2 2024的申请，不再受理之后的新申请。

1. 在3.28（含）前递交的申请，会被审理，达到UoM 75%及以上分数的申请者，有很大机会进入到5月轮次的候补序列中，但不保证录取；
2. 目前拿到录取的学生无法直接延期，学生可选择：满足所有条件入读S2 2024，或递交新申请；
3. Offer lapse date不可延长，学生必须在截止前接受Offer；

Dear valued partners,

 

You are receiving this communication as an authorised education agent of the University of Melbourne. 

 

This email relates to the significant international applicant demand for the Melbourne Law Masters (MLM) suite of programs offered by the Melbourne Law School and resulting limits on international student offers. 

 

Due to unprecedented high demand by applicants, international applications for the MLM suite of programs for Semester 2, 2024 intake are closing earlier than previously published. Applications will now close on 28 March, instead of 30 April 2024. This is to ensure we can continue to offer a high-quality student experience to those enrolled in our programs.   

 

Please note the following for Semester 2, 2024: 

·   All existing applicants and those that apply up until 28 March will be assessed and if competitive waitlisted for the selection round (in May). 

·   Applicants will require very competitive academic results to be eligible for an offer. As a guide, applications with a UM equivalent score of 75 or above will go to the selection committee for review. This does not guarantee an offer.   

·   Current offer holders for the listed courses for Semester 2, 2024 will not be able to defer unless extenuating circumstances apply. If a student’s deferral request is unsuccessful, they will need to commence in Semester 2, 2024 or reapply for a future intake. 

·   Late applications will not be accepted. Additionally, offer lapse dates cannot be extended and offer holders should respond to their offer prior to the lapse date. 

·   We encourage applicants to consider applying for a future intake if they miss this upcoming one.
