Our Global Counsellors are like family to NTU, and we want you to feel the same about us!
Our new "5 minutes with..." campaign aims to introduce the international team to you, detailing their role and sharing fun snippets from their personal lives.

Spotlight on your frequently asked question of the month
The Enquiries team handles lots of questions from Global Counsellors every week. At the moment we're noticing that you want to know more about:
1. How do I demonstrate that I supported an applicant?
The quickest way to link your agency to a direct application is to apply via the Agent Application Portal.
For UCAS applicants or any direct application not submitted through your agency portal, please email an agent nomination form to agents@ntu.ac.uk within 2 weeks of the application or a full copy of the UCAS form.
The agent nomination form needs to be signed by the applicant. If this is not possible, we will require a copy of the applicant's passport. The application will then be linked to your Agency's portal.
Key dates
| Accommodation bookings open on 2 February 2024If your student is looking to join us in September 2024, our accommodation booking system goes live this week. To book NTU accommodation your student will need to make NTU their firm (first) choice on UCAS Hub or accept their offer on our applicant portal if they applied directly. |
| Next scholarship application deadline is 28 February 2024, 16:00 GMTApplications for our September 2024 scholarship scheme are now open. Your student must have an offer to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at NTU (including Confetti courses) before applying for a scholarship. We have some assets to help you advertise our NTU International Scholarship Scheme to your students. You will find images, a video and text which you can use on social media. |
Top 10 ranking for work experience*
Meaningful work experience is one of the main routes to success after students graduate, and NTU will support your student to develop their skills through work experience, a placement embedded into their course, or through extra-curricular activities. Futhermore, NTU will provide your students with tailored support and advice to ensure they graduate with everything they need for a competitive edge in their career.
And if an NTU graduate** is still unable to find a job 12 months after graduation, NTU will offer your student a guaranteed short paid internship. That's our Graduate Employment Promise.
*Top 10 University for Work Experience (RateMyPlacement Awards 2023) **The Graduate Employment Promise is open to undergraduate students who are unemployed or underemployed and aren't undertaking postgraduate study, with a legal right to work in the UK. |

| Visiting us is the perfect way to see what makes life and learning at NTU so special. If any of your students are visiting the UK please encourage them to book onto an Open Day if the dates below are relevant. If your student is visiting the UK outside of these dates then please email us at agents@ntu.ac.uk and we'll arrange a private tour with their country manager around the campus. |
