UNSW named Australia's Most Employable University
For the fifth year in a row, UNSW has been named Australia's Most Employable University.
This exceptional achievement, which recognises the outstanding talent of our students, was recently announced at The Top100 Future Leaders Awards. A total of 33 UNSW students were awarded as most employable, the highest of any university.
Term 1 has kicked off with a lively O-Week – the biggest in the southern hemisphere! We welcomed International students with free events, campus tours, and invited them to join some of our 300 student clubs and societies.
Applications are now open! Designed for students who aspire to progress to a master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Science or Information Technology, the Pre-Master's Program provides additional academic support to meet the entry requirements of a postgraduate degree at UNSW Sydney.
Due to unprecedented student demand the Master of Laws Term 2 intake is now closed to new applications and the offer acceptance deadline has been revised to Wednesday, 14 February. Applicants and offer holders have been informed of these revisions.
This newly established program has received a favourable reception from the international market, offering abundant career prospects both in Australia and globally. A reminder that this program is available for all three intakes throughout 2024.
The required IELTS for the Bachelor of Social Work has been adjusted to 7.0 overall (minimum 7.0 in each subtest) and will be effective for T2 2024 admissions. This will also apply to double degrees in Social Sciences, Arts, and Criminology & Criminal Justice.
A reminder when making payments for the deposit, please ensure all relevant information is provided on the receipt, such as full name, zID, otherwise there will be delays with applications and issuance of CoEs.
Prepare for the future of health and join a community focused on improving life for all. Join us on Thursday, 28 March 6-7pm (AEDT) where your students will hear from our expert panel of academic staff and current students and get their UNSW Medicine questions answered.
Skilled engineering occupations in Australia are projected to grow by 21% over the next 10 years, according to recent data, with notable growth in areas without concentration in one engineering discipline. Despite this, the data projects a shortage of 200,000 Engineers by 2040 and notes the need for more Engineering graduates.
Scams are increasing in frequency and severity with scammers often targeting international students, including those at UNSW. We have recently been made aware of communications requesting potential students to pay a scholarship application fee. UNSW does not charge for scholarship applications.
