NMIT are pleased to be able to announce a tuition fee decrease for three of our degree programmes, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Counselling.

Students starting in 2026 will pay NZ$22,592 per year of study, down from NZ$26,000 in 2025!

We look forward to welcoming more international students onto these programmes and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to lead professional careers in each of these fields.

2026 Tuition Fee Decrease for Foundation Pathway Programmes!

Students who do not meet the academic entry criteria for their desired degree programme can join our level 3 and/or level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways.  The tuition fee for these single semester foundation programmes beginning in February and July 2026 is NZ$11,296, down from NZ$13,000 is 2025!

Completion of the single semester level 4 certificate meets the academic requirements for programmes degree programmes such as the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Counselling and Bachelor of Social Work.

Apply Early for February 2026 Bachelor of Nursing!

Due to high demand for NMIT’s Bachelor of Nursing programme, we strongly recommend submitting applications early to secure a spot! The annual tuition fee for NMIT’s Bachelor of Nursing, February 2026 intake, is NZ$29,768.

Please note that when submitting nursing applications, as well as the standard application documents, nursing requires some additional documents which can be found HERE.

Visa Application Deadline: October 2025 MAM & PGDipAM Intake

For students planning to join our Master of Applied Management (MAM) or Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management (PGDipAM) this October, we recommend submitting their student visa applications before the 18^th of August 2025, ahead of Immigration New Zealand’s Online System upgrade.

Applying before the 18^th of August increases student’s chances of having their visa processed on time so they can start their studies in October.
