September 2026 ScholarshipsA range of international scholarships is open for applications. Students will need to apply for and receive an offer for an Aston University course first.

Programme exclusions apply to each scholarship and scholarships cannot be combined. Please visit our international scholarship webpage for details and deadlines.

CAS Shield submission deadline reminder
While the April 2026 application has closed, please be reminded of the following key dates for CAS Shield submission:
All countries (excluding Nigeria, Pakistan and Bangladesh) Normal visa process: 27 March 2026 Priority / Super priority*: 2 April 2026
Nigeria, Pakistan and Bangladesh Normal visa process: 20 March 2026 Priority / Super priority*: 26 March 2026
*Please note: you must receive confirmation from our Visa Team that you are eligible for a super priority visa.

Interim Vice-Chancellor and DeputyAston University has announced Professor Mike Caine as its interim Vice-Chancellor and Craig Jones as its interim Chief Executive Officer.
They will step into the roles on 16 March 2026. Currently they are Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise and Executive Director of Finance, respectively.
Despite the appointment of an Interim Vice-Chancellor, there will be no changes to our partnerships. Aston University remains fully committed to maintaining and strengthening our valued relationships with you.
