Important Update

Dear Valued Partner,

We have recently completed a thorough review of our processes to ensure they remain efficient and responsive to the needs of both our students and our agent partners.

As a result, we are pleased to share important updates to the Appoint Agent, Change Agent, and Visa Support processes.

These updates, along with the revised forms, take effect immediately. Please note that any Appoint or Change of Agent requests submitted prior to this notification will still be processed under the previous procedures.

Process/Form	Key Updates
Appoint Agent Request Form	• New Form: Now includes a Student Authorisation section. → Please refer to the updated Appoint Agent Request Form attached. • Agent Cancellation: A separate form is now required for agent cancellation requests. → Please refer to the updated Cancel Agent Request Form attached.
Change Agent Request Form	• Dispute Window: The current agent has five (5) working days to dispute a change of agent request. – When submitting a request, the student or new agent must CC the current agent. – AUT’s International Commission team will notify the current agent. – If no response is received within 5 working days, the change will proceed. – Please ensure requests are submitted promptly to allow time for the review period. • Expired or Cancelled Offers of Place: Students may request a change of agent at any time if their Offer of Place (OOP) has expired or been cancelled. • New Form: Now includes a Student Authorisation section. → Please refer to the updated Change of Agent Request Form attached.
Visa Support	• Fee Increase: The Visa Support Fee has increased from NZ$800 to NZ$1,000. • Eligibility: Available to direct international students with a valid Firm Offer of Place (excluding English language programmes). • Claiming the Fee: The fee is paid on behalf of the student and can be claimed once the student successfully enrols.
