I have a couple of updates from us here at the University of Chichester which I hope you don’t mind my sharing? They relate to an upcoming Virtual Open Day, Enroly CAS Shield, and a new addition to the range of tests we accept as proof of English language proficiency.

Postgraduate Open Event (Wednesday, 28^th January 2026)

In 2 weeks’ time, on the 28^th January, we’ll be running a virtual open day for our postgraduate applicants. To take time zones into account we’ll be running it twice - at 11am and 6pm GMT. I’d be really grateful if you could please spread the word to any of your students who have applied (or who might be interested in applying) to the University of Chichester for a master’s.

Duolingo English Test

The University of Chichester is now accepting the Duolingo English Test as proof of English language proficiency. Requirements (in terms of IELTS equivalence, for clarity) are:

IELTS 6.0 equivalent (i.e. most of our undergraduate courses): 105+ (minimum 100 in each skill)

IELTS 6.5 equivalent (i.e. most of our master’s courses): 120+ (minimum 100 in each skill)

IELTS 7.0 equivalent (research masters + School of Health BScs): 130+ (minimum 125 in each skill)
