Dear Partner,

As we head into the Easter break, I hope you don’t mind my sending you some quick updates from us here at the University of Chichester? These relate to:

· Deadlines – Early Bird discount and accommodation

· Scholarships

· Travel

· A virtual event on the 30^th April

Deadlines

Just a reminder that:

· the 30^th April deadline for our £2,000 Early Bird Discount is fast approaching. Offer-holders will need to accept their offers from the University of Chichester on or before the 30^th April to be eligible, and it will be automatically awarded when they do. (This is only available to students who are not eligible for University of Chichester scholarships – see below.)

· our accommodation portal will be open between the 5^th May and the 21^st June. If you have students who have accepted their offers from the University of Chichester, they should have received instructions from us on how to apply for accommodation through the portal, but if you or they need further details, or if you encounter any issues, please contact us at global@chi.ac.uk

· the deadline for most applications is, as usual (with some degree of flexibility), the end of June. Please get as many applications as possible in to us before then!

Scholarships

Scholarships for autumn 2026 entry are on our website here. They include:

· regional scholarships (automatic) - £3,500 for undergraduates; £3,000 for postgraduates

· our Global Distinction scholarship (merit-based, automatically awarded): £2,750

· our EU Scholarship (automatic for EU nationals)

Travel

Over the past few months, the University of Chichester has been out to Nigeria, Canada, India and China; this month we’ll be visiting China and Nigeria again. Contact MJ (East Asia) or Shola (sub-Saharan Africa and the Americas) for details.

Virtual postgraduate event (30^th April)

We’ll be holding a postgraduate virtual event from 12.30pm to 1.30pm BST on the 30^th April in which we’ll be covering all things relating to postgraduate study at the University of Chichester. Our International Advice team will be there to take questions. Please direct any students who might be interested to register here.
