Kia ora!

The year has started well at Avondale College. We welcomed new students from all around the world in January. They are now well settled into classes and enjoying all of the additional activities on offer here.

OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC RESULTS

We were delighted to receive news of outstanding academic results from the 2024 year - with 11 NZ Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, including Top in the World for IT and Mathematics, and the top A Level scholar in New Zealand. NCEA results were again extremely strong - and well above national averages.

INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENT NEWS
In February we farewelled Nicole Grace, and welcomed Amanda Brophy to the position of Acting International Manager. Amanda, as you will know, has been with Avondale College for a number of years and is very experienced in all aspects of our International Programme - including homestay and student services. Please contact Amanda (a.brophy@avcol.school.nz) with any questions about student admissions or departmental operations.

2025 TERM 3/4 APPLICATIONS: CAPACITY UPDATE AND DEADLINE REMINDER

We are approaching capacity for our Term 3 July intake, so if you have students interested in studying with us, please either submit them via our online application platform, which can be accessed here or email Amanda and ask if a place can be reserved for your applicant/s.

Our application deadline is 1 April 2025 for a study start in July 2025.
