Kia ora koutou,
As we head into the autumn season here in Aotearoa New Zealand, the academic year at EIT is now well underway. Over the past six weeks, our campuses have been a hub of activity as we welcomed both new and returning students. Whether beginning their studies with us or continuing their academic journey, it has been wonderful to see students settling in and becoming part of the vibrant EIT community.
Our campuses have been buzzing with workshops, orientation activities, and student events designed to help students succeed academically, build connections, and feel at home. These initiatives not only support students in gaining new skills but also create opportunities for fun, friendship, and personal growth.
Students have also received a warm cultural welcome from our local communities - from a marae visit by EIT Auckland to a Mayoral welcome ceremony in Hawke’s Bay - helping them feel supported as they begin a new life in New Zealand.
A new academic year brings fresh possibilities, and we look forward to working closely with you to support more students in choosing EIT as their study destination in 2026 and beyond.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this edition of our newsletter, which highlights key updates and news from across our EIT community.
