Hi team, With the rise of new technologies, threats like AI-driven attacking bots are becoming more sophisticated and quicker at exploiting security systems. In response to these evolving threats, we introduced the MSc Cybersecurity, which is based in our School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. This innovative programme gives students a practical, real-world embedding of current cybersecurity-related technologies and prepares them to deploy them imaginatively in a fast-developing threat-laden world. They are supported by experts in the field and by our specialist facilities, such as a hardware ‘sandbox’, Autopsy/Cyber Triage, Wireshark, and our 24/7 computing labs. Students gain a wide knowledge of various systems and techniques including: · Cryptography · Biometrics and Forensics · AI and emerging technologies · Network security It is a perfect course for future cybersecurity experts and software engineers, computational thinkers with a great grasp of pattern recognition and algorithms, and those interested in risk and compliance You can find all the information for this course and apply here. Also, we've recently held a webinar on our Computer Science and Electronic Engineering offering, where we highlighted the MSc Cybersecurity programme. In case you've missed it or would like to revisit it, feel free to watch the recording and view the relevant slides. |
