Dear Partners
As the international application deadline of 7 July has
now passed, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your
colleagues for all your efforts in submitting high volumes of quality
applications this year.
The Admissions and Compliance Teams are focusing all efforts on
processing offers and reviewing CAS requests as quickly as possible.
We are currently processing a large volume of applications, and you may
experience a delay with issuance of your CAS. As advised in your offer
letter, CAS are issued on a first come-first served basis and your offer
for a place on the programme is not a guarantee of CAS issuance
Please note the following:
- Do advise your students not to pay the advance fee payment (deposit) until they have a UN offer and have received confirmation that they have passed the interview on CAS Shield.
- To
assist Compliance Team to prioritise CAS requests, ensure that your
students have a UN offer and have uploaded all financial documents (e.g.
bank statements) on CAS Shield.
- UoG will not check the CAS interviews if the student is still at Conditional CN offer stage.
- Agent tagging -
in order that UoG teams and your counsellors can focus on conversion of
current offer holders, we will not be accepting any NEW requests for
agent tagging. We will continue to review any requests that have been
sent to us prior to and including 7 July.
- Keep
checking our agent portal for any updates as we may need to bring
forward the CAS request deadline in order to effectively manage the
demand.
- Any requests for deferrals will not be processed until September, as the Admissions team are focusing on the September intake
- Candidates undertaking a research degree are expected to engage fully in their academic commitments; therefore, it is advised that they do not bring family members with them.
We
thank you for your cooperation and please do continue to liaise with
your Regional Manager if you have some priority cases (full sets of
documentation supplied) that need attention.
Thank you for your continuing efforts and support for UoG
