Queensland Quantum and Advanced Technologies Research Institute (QUATRI) — a hub uniting expertise in quantum physics, nanotechnology, microfabrication and ultra-precise measurement systems. QUATRI consolidates decades of Griffith’s research excellence to support the next quantum era and to partner with global industry leaders.
Importantly, QUATRI is establishing strategic collaborations that bridge academia and industry, including projects with companies like PsiQuantum, a Silicon Valley-based quantum technology leader, which will be expanding its Asia-Pacific presence at Griffith’s Brisbane South campus.
A$1 billion quantum computing investment in Brisbane Queensland is rapidly emerging as a global hub for quantum innovation, supported by almost $1 billion in funding toward the world’s first large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computer, to be built in Brisbane through a collaboration between the Australian and Queensland governments and PsiQuantum.
