As you may know at this current time we do not offer a Foundation Programme at our Scottish campuses.If your students would like to study in the UK and do not meet the entry requirements for our degree programme, we recommend that they take the International Foundation Programme at Edinburgh College.

Here they will sit for Scottish Highers as well as studying academic English language. It is important to ensure that they selec the correct higher subjects for the degree programme that they wish to take. For example an Engineering degree will require Higher Maths and Physics or Chemistry.

If the student takes the Edinburgh College Foundation programme and passes with the required grades, they will be accepted into our degree programme and will be awarded a 10% fee reduction off the first years tuition fees.

We can also consider students who do their foundation programme elsewher in the UK but this will depend on the programme content and the grades achieved.

Alternatively they could do their foundation study at one of our international campuses.In Dubai, we offer the Degree Entry Programme and in Malaysia we offer our Foundation Programme .Please see the links for more information. Successful completion of either of these programme would allow them to continue their Heriot-Watt degree studies at any of our campuses.
