We know that studying in the UK is a lot to consider financially. To further help out our undergraduate applicants, we are delighted to announce our Tri-annual Scholarship has increased to £2,000 per year for the September 2024 intake!

This means applicants on three year programmes can get £6,000 discount, and four year programmes can get £8,000 off tuition!

Any applicants for September 2024 who already received a £1,000 Tri-annual scholarship will have this increase to the new amount and receive confirmation via email. 阅读更多

The University of Hertfordshire has partnered with Flywire, our preferred payment provider for a secure, simplified way of making international payments.

Using Flywire allows access to fair market exchange rates to avoid unnecessary costs to students, with the ability to pay in their home currency for most countries. Payment options can include bank transfers, credit cards, e-wallets and more! There's no hidden fees and multilingual support is available around the clock.

Watch the demo video to learn how to make a payment to Herts through Flywire.

Flywire has an Agent Platform to help you better assist students with tracking and managing student payments, refunds and accessing receipts. You can sign up to their Agent Platform online. 阅读更多

Disney+ show created by Herts alumni

A University of Hertfordshire alumnus' epic new, African sci-fi series is available on Disney+.

Titled Iwájú - which roughly translates to “the future” in the Yoruba language of West Africa - the animated coming-of-age story, set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria, is the brainchild of Herts alumnus, Hamid Ibrahim.

Five years in the making - and a first-of-its-kind collaboration - the six-episode mini-series was created by Hamid’s entertainment company, Kugali Media, in partnership with Disney.

Born in Uganda, Hamid grew up in Kenya before moving to the UK where he studied 3D Animation and Visual Effects at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating in 2017. Hamid went on to work for Moving Picture Company on feature films including the remake of Disney’s The Lion King, before setting up and becoming Chief Executive Officer of Kugali Media, which he co-founded to tell stories inspired by African culture, using comic books, animation and augmented reality.

“The University of Hertfordshire helped me realise my full potential,” he continued. “Studying here developed my confidence and skills, allowing me to become the best I could be.”阅读更多

Herts ranked the UK's Best Design Education institution

The University of Hertfordshire has been ranked as the best place in the UK to study design – and seventh in the world.

Herts ranked the highest of any institution in the UK in the World Brand Design Society’s Best Education Ranking’s 2023/24, which recognises world-leading institutions and students in the fields of corporate and consumer brand design.

Four BA Graphic Design students who graduated from the University last year also won top prizes, including for work on products intended to be sold in aid of those affected by the 2017 earthquakes in central Italy. 阅读更多

Student stories

To help give future applicants better insight into what being a Herts student in the UK is like, we are currently filming some student stories, to hear from international students about their experiences. We will be sharing their stories on our Instagram reels and YouTube channel.

Check out our first one from Sepehr from Iran studying Automotive Engineering!

If you know of any existing Herts students who would be keen to share their story, reach out to your In Country Representative or Regional Manager who can pass on the details.
