Herts Achieves 5 Stars in QS Stars Rating

The University of Hertfordshire is celebrating after being awarded 5 Stars overall in the latest QS Stars, a globally recognised university rating system assessing higher education institutions.

Through independent and in-depth evaluations based on a wide range of performance indicators across several categories, the University demonstrated strong performance with a total score of 779/1000. Most notably, the university earned five Stars in the following seven key areas:

• Teaching: 110/150
• Facilities: 99/100
• Employability: 137/150
• Governance: 81/100
• Environmental Impact: 77/100
• Global Engagement: 125/150
• Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI): 45/50

QS Stars differ from the well-known QS World University Rankings. While both can complement each other, QS Stars offers a more comprehensive evaluation by focusing on an institution's internal performance, rather than its standing relative to other universities. This means that the rating reflects the quality of the university’s offerings, with no comparative focus on peer institutions.

Final Days For £2,000 Discount

Just a reminder that we are in the final few days for postgraduate applicants to secure their £2,000 Early Bird Discount. They need to pay their minimum £5,000 tuition fee deposit by 30 April 2025.

International Business with Modern Languages

We are pleased to confirm that our BA (Hons) International Business with French/German/Japanese/Mandarin/Spanish has now been relaunched as BA International Business with Modern Languages.

The programme content is the same as previous, but the new format allows offer holders to select their choice of language as optional modules, instead of having to commit to their chosen language at point of application.

Choosing this course allows students to gain expertise in business strategy, cross-cultural communication, and fluency in a modern language to excel worldwide.
