As applicants are clearing their final conditions ready for the
September 2025 intake, our July newsletter focuses on upcoming deadlines
and liability dates. The liability dates have changed from previous
years, so please ensure you are aware of the new ones. This month
students and the wider University have also won many awards, so read on
to find out more!

Application and deposit deadlines September
2025 applications for postgraduate courses will close on Friday 1st
August. Undergraduate applications will remain open for the clearing
period with A Level results day on Thursday 14th August. Applicants should
pay their deposit as soon as possible. The official last date on offers
is 31st July 2025 but we will continue to accept deposits after this
date for courses that still have availability. Courses reaching capacity
will close early. |

Scholarship extensions Due
to popular demand, we have extended our Vice Chancellor's Regional
Scholarship deadline. Eligible applicants now have until 31st July to
pay their deposit to secure the scholarship. |

Liability dates Liability dates have changed for September 2025, and all students will be required to pay 50% of their tuition fees prior to registering
for each year of their programme (including the first year). Any
scholarships or discounts they have received will count towards the 50%
of the fee that needs to be paid. |

MRes formal offers, deposit and liability We are pleased to announce our two new MRes degrees within Hertfordshire Business School have now passed validation: - Master of Research (MRES) In Artificial Intelligence in Business
- Master of Research (MRES) In Digital Management
Applications for these two courses can be submitted through the standard University application form and should not be sent to our Doctoral College. (Any applications for any other research courses or PhDs should be sent to our Doctoral College at doctoralcollegeadmissions@herts.ac.uk). A compulsory deposit of £10,000
is required from all MRes applicants who require Student Visa
sponsorship to study in the UK. The deposit goes towards the first year
tuition fee and the remaining fee liability dates must then be adhered

Full Payment Discount MRes applicants
can get the £1000 full payment discount but only if they pay their full
£23,000 fee at the start of the first academic year, prior to
registering at the University. Students who choose to split their payment over two academic years will not be eligible for the full payment discount. Further information can be found in our fees and finance policy |

Pre-arrival support On
the run up to start of term we will be conducting our usual pre-arrival
webinars to support applicants on their final steps to the UK. Our
website pre-arrival pages have been updated ready for the September 2025
cohort and we will be circulating this with offer holders as they reach
CAS stage. Applicants can also book onto our free airport collection from Heathrow ready for arrivals weekend on the 13 and 14 September. |
