![]() MACQUARIE STAFF SPOTLIGHTMeet Anthony Bradley Anthony has been with Macquarie since March 2016, and between 2005 and 2016 held similar roles for Griffith University and James Cook University. Anthony has spent the last 35 years actively engaged in the International Education industry, developing student recruitment strategies and institutional linkages, and forging strong relationships with agents, scholarship bodies and government offices. A frequent traveller who has visited over 30 countries, he has also called Africa, Turkey, Spain, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia “home” at one point in time. In his spare time, he enjoys most outdoor pursuits particularly camping, wild swimming, and long-distance hiking with his dog. On advising prospective students to Macquarie University, Anthony always suggests joining one or more of Macquarie’s 100s of clubs, societies and associations with this piece of advice: “of course your academic studies are your priority but remember that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!” Anthony is based in the West of England (MQ’s ‘UK Office’) and is the proud father of two daughters. Associate Professor Cain is developing new genome-based technologies to combat deadly hospital bacteria, addressing one of the greatest threats to global health. “Antibiotic resistance is one of the greatest threats to humankind.
