EVISA BITESIZE UPDATE-LATEST INFORMATION

No more 90-day Vignettes (stickers) for some main applicants from 15 July 2025

From 15 July, main applicants for the below visa, will only get an eVisa (no 90-day vignette in their passport):

• Students (including short-term up to 11 months)
  

What students need to do when their eVisa is granted

Please ensure students:

• Follow all the instructions in their decision letter to create a UKVI account

• Access their eVisa and check the details are correct

• Link their travel document (e.g. passport) to their eVisa before travelling. See: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/making-sure-your-evisa-is-correct-before-you-travel

  
  

Get a share code (with their date of birth) to give you, their education provider. See: https://www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status

Expired BRPs or BRCs can be kept

You can keep an expired BRP or BRC for:

• personal records

• assisting future immigration applications
