伦敦大学玛丽女王学院8月简讯：本科补录、接机、迎新、出CAS

Students that have already received their results (as you may know we have already started the early clearing in July)or those waiting for the A-Level results on 18th August. In fact, you are welcome to call our Admissions/Clearing office from now AND onwards by telephoning +44 (0)20 7882 5511 (Call from outside the UK). A member of the team will be able to advise students of their options. Students should have their UCAS ID to hand in order to speed up the process. The quickest and best way to inquiry is to give our clearing hotline a call. Places at QMUL are limited and given on a first come first served basis. Most of our courses are likely to be filled before September, so if you are interested in studying at Queen Mary, get in touch as soon as you receive your results. A full listing of our course vacancies will be published on the UCAS website（www.ucas.com/） , but it is very likely that we will have some availability on courses offered by different academic schools, with the exception of Medicine and Dentistry. We anticipate that there will be some flexibility offered against our standard entry requirements for the vast majority of courses.

针对今年9月入读主课的学生，学校将于2016年9月17日及18日提供免费的接机服务，会有大巴将学生们送往主校区Mile End。接机的时间为早8点到晚10点，大巴平均2-3小时发车一次，地点在希思罗机场T3航站楼。届时，会有身穿蓝色T-Shirt的员工和学生大使在机场等候。

请各位老师提醒需要接机服务的学生预订机票时注意到达时间(晚于晚9点到达机场有可能赶不上接机)。如果航班到达的是希斯罗机场其他航站楼，也可以使用机场内在各航站楼之间穿梭的大巴或者火车到达T3航站楼。具体请查看（www.heathrowairport.com/heathrow-airport-guide/travel-between-terminals#table） 。

注：此次接机只适用于2016级入读的新生，且只能将学生送到Mile End校区，因此如果住在其他校区或者自己租房且不住在学校附近的学生，建议选择其他方式前往住处。

国际学生迎新活动

学校举办的一系列针对国际学生的迎新活动将在9月19-20日举行，旨在让国际学生更好地了解从而适应在Queen Mary的学习与生活。届时，会有一系列的讲座，内容包括警察局注册、银行卡办理、附近购物地点介绍、健身卡办理及如何找到兼职工作等等。迎新活动是免费的，但需要提前在网上注册，强烈建议每位同学参加，注册请复制（www.eventbrite.com/e/international-eu-student-welcome-to-qmul-2016-tickets-25948467565） 。交换生(Study Abroad)项目有自己的迎新安排，请交换生的同学参考网站（www.qmul.ac.uk/international/international-students/studyabroad/orientation/） 。个别院系有自己单独的迎新活动安排，如时间冲突，则不强制参加此次国际学生迎新活动。

出CAS的截止日期

目前已收到Admissions的确认，9月19日(开学第一天)为最晚出CAS的日期。从申请CAS到最终出CAS前后大约需要5个工作日，因此，我们建议申请CAS的日期不要晚于9月9日。
