BSc Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence (AI)- In development for 2026

Reading town ranks 2nd among UK AI hotspots, sitting within a major digital tech hub.

Our BSc Computer Science with AI meets surging employer demand for AI-skilled graduates. Combining core Computer Science with AI specialisms — including Machine Learning, NLP, and Deep Learning — students develop expert skills to tailor AI solutions across industries. Placement year, study abroad year and international foundation year variants are also awaiting approval.

New Internship Programme for Postgraduate Taught Chinese students

To support our Chinese postgraduate (taught) students, we are pleased to launch the 'China Postgraduate (Taught) Internship Programme' (or CPGTIP). Students from China on certain courses will have access to a structured internship programme delivered in partnership with mShare, a specialist global employability provider in China. This programme is designed to give students a competitive edge in today’s job market by combining academic excellence with professional experience.
