The deadline to enrol is Monday 26th January 2026.
We understand some applicants will need to arrive after 26th January due to visa processing times. If your students are unable to arrive in the UK and enrol by 26th January, please ask them to email us at enrolment@shu.ac.uk.
Students who are not in the UK and fully enrolled by 9th February will not be permitted to enrol and will not be permitted to stay in the UK.
Our Meet & Greet desk will be open until 23 January from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Staffed by members of the International Experience team and student crew, we can help with any questions about living and studying in Sheffield.
Students take part in discussions, simulations and problem-solving activities that reflect the fast-paced, ever-evolving global sport landscape. The teaching team brings together expert academics and seasoned practitioners whose insight and experience help bridge theory and practice in meaningful, relevant ways.
The course has strong industry connections that provide students with opportunities to work directly with leading sport organisations through work-based learning projects. Recent collaborations include GB Boxing, Virtus Sport and SBD Apparel Ltd – partnerships that give students invaluable exposure, enhance professional skills and strengthen their network within the sector.
Mousumi said “The course offered a perfect balance of academic knowledge and industry application, with modules that covered key areas such as sport marketing, event management, finance, and leadership. Having access to professors with strong industry backgrounds made the learning experience even more relevant and engaging”.
