Exclusive March events in China

To further support your offer holders and enquirers in their decision making journey, we are delighted to announce a series of Future Student Engagement events that will take place across China this March. These sessions are designed to welcome students into our community and provide them with the confidence to choose Sheffield as their final destination.

The events are open to both offer holders and enquirers, and we are hosting sessions in three cities:

• Chengdu: Thursday 26 March, 6:30pm - 9pm, at the Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, hosted by the Vice-President of Admissions.

• Shanghai: Saturday 28 March, arrival from 4:30pm, event runs from 5:30pm to 8pm, at the Shanghai Tower, hosted by the President.

• Beijing: Sunday 29 March, arrival from 4:30pm, event runs from 5:30pm to 8pm, at the Intercontinental Beijing Sanlitun, hosted by the President.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Win their flight to Sheffield: Future students will have a chance to win a free flight ticket to Sheffield to start their journey with us in September 2026 (terms and conditions apply).

• Discover our guaranteed scholarships for Chinese students: Receive details on our automatic scholarships of £2,500 for undergraduates each year (maximum value £10,000) and £3,000 for postgraduate taught students, when they accept their offer by the deadline.

• Meet University leadership: Gain direct insights from the President and senior leaders on our research and teaching excellence.

• Build their network: Connect with fellow offer holders and current alumni to hear first-hand about life in Sheffield.
