Greetings from the SOAS International Recruitment Team!

As we look to the new year we are excited to spotlight some key updates including the launch of several new PG programmes with placement years, revised IB Entry requirements, and team updates.

Please send any pending provisional claims to agents@soas.ac.uk ASAP.

We aim to begin confirm Commission claims from mid December.

Changes to MSc Politics programmes

From 2024, the MSc Political Thought, MSc International Politics, MSc Politics of Conflict Rights and Justice, MSc Politics of Africa, MSc Politics of the Middle East and MSc Politics of Asia will be replaced by one new parent degree, the MSc Politics and International Relations.

Specialist pathways will give students access to their chosen area of discipline and regional expertise.

Revised IB Entry requirements - 2024 intake

Overall IB scores have been revised down by 1 point. UG requirements now range from 36 (HL 666) for LBB Law, to 32 (HL 655) for popular courses such as BSc Management.
