With A-Level results being released it is worth a timely reminder that we are open for clearing. If your student didn’t get a place on their chosen course don’t worry. Every year, the University of Stirling welcomes International students from all over the world through the Clearing process. It doesn’t matter whether they’re interested in sport, science, business or anything in between – we’ve got the perfect course just for them.

Please remember that we offer 4 year degree programmes at the University of Stirling in addition to 3 year programmes therefore entry requirements for 1st year entry may be considered favourable for some students.

Applying to the University of Stirling through Clearing is quick and simple:

On Results Day, you should immediately consult UCAS Track to see if youve met the conditions of your Firm or Insurance offer. If you have not, or would like to apply for a different course, it’s time to explore other opportunities.

Check out the University of Stirling’s Clearing List（www.stir.ac.uk/clearing/list/） to see what courses are available. You can also find this list on UCAS.

If you spot a course you’re interested in, don’t hesitate! Phone our Clearing helpline immediately so that we can tell you more about your chosen course and guide you through the next steps. Don’t forget to have your UCAS Personal ID number ready – this allows us to view your UCAS application and speeds up the process for you.

In most cases, well be able to give you an immediate decision over the telephone. If youre offered a place on your chosen course, you will receive an email from the University of Stirling to confirm the verbal offer and to provide further information on what happens next.

Finally, you must then confirm your place at the University of Stirling via UCAS. once you are happy with your choice, sign in to Track,click “Add Clearing choice” and fill in the details for your new University of Stirling course. This confirms that you definitely wish to accept your offer, and once your details have been verified, Track will updat to show that you have been formally accepted by the University.
