南澳大学 对持临时签证的学生宣布新规

Dear Valued Partners,

I'd like to bring your attention to the new processes for students holding temporary visas WITHOUT unlimited study rightsfrom Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, China and Malaysia ONLY, following the UniSA Quality and Compliance Teams decision to revert their previous decision of not
being permitted to commence studies at SAIBT unless they have been granted a 500 Student visa which has unlimited study entitlements.

This above mentioned applicant is permitted to commence studying without unlimited study rights, provided they manage to secure a temporary visa with unlimited study rights by 1 day before census date of their commencing study period.

Agents need to confirm the applicant’s decision of whether to withdraw and re-apply for the following intake, or if they want to continue in classby the census date for SAIBT.

PLEASE NOTE this is an exception only for the countries mentioned above.  For all other countries there is no change, and they must be granted the 500 Student visa before they can enrol.

We will review each application as part of our process and then provide accommodations case by case.

This processes will be implemented immediately by SAIBT.
