We are excited to welcome the next cohort of international students to UC for the July 2024 intake.

In order to for students to secure their place and start their programme in July 2024, it is essential that you review the following details.

Student Visa Application – lodge before 1 May

For visa applications to be assessed in time by Immigration New Zealand and start in their programme in July 2024, it is strongly recommended that applications for visas are completed before the 1 May 2024.

Please continue to take note of Immigration New Zealand’s current processing time for a student visa and ensure a timely application.

Request for Visa Application Number and Visa Lodgement Date

In order for us to track visa application progress and escalate where possible, we request you to please email us with the following details when a student visa application is submitted.

1. UC Student ID number (can be found on an Offer of Place)

2. Immigration New Zealand’s Visa Application Number for the visa application

3. The date you lodged the completed visa application
