Dear Valued Partners,

We are delighted to announce the availability of new scholarships and bursaries for international students at the University of Waikato College. These bursaries are available for eligible programmes starting between July 2025 and June 2026.

At the University of Waikato College, we are committed to helping students realise their dream of studying abroad in New Zealand. To support this, we are offering a limited number of scholarships to provide financial assistance and help students move closer to their future careers. Students may be eligible to receive a Scholarship / Bursary if they have accepted an unconditional offer from the University of Waikato College (Navitas) to study an eligible programme and/or have paid the tuition fees.

The scholarships available depend on the student's home country and programme choice and will be automatically awarded upon meeting the eligibility criteria.

Available Scholarships:

1. University of Waikato College International Bursary – South Asia (NZD $4,000)
   This Bursary, offering a NZD$4,000 credit toward progression programme fees, is available to students enrolled in a Foundation or Diploma programme (excluding those in the Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies Accelerated), with limited bursaries available per trimester intake, and is applicable to eligible students who have paid their tuition fees until the quota is filled.

   
   

2. University of Waikato College International Bursary – Rest of the World (NZD $2,500)
   This bursary provides a NZD $2,500 tuition fee credit for full fee-paying international students (excluding South Asia) enrolled in a Diploma or Foundation programme (excluding those in the Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies Accelerated).

   
   

3. University of Waikato College Academic English Bursary (10% Tuition Fee Discount)
   This bursary offers a 10% discount on tuition fees for up to two levels of the Certificate of Attainment in Academic English (CAAE), equivalent to a maximum of 20 weeks of study, when the student progresses to a pre-degree programme at the University of Waikato College.
