Dear Friends, Happy New Year, and a warm welcome to our partners and agents around the world. As we step into 2026, we’re excited for another year of collaboration, innovation, and unforgettable student experiences. 2025 highlights 2025 was an outstanding year for UQ College, marked by exciting growth and new program offerings. We expanded our General English stream with the introduction of Business English and Academic English, giving students richer opportunities to strengthen their language skills and achieve their learning goals. These streams are currently offered during peak sessions (2, 6 and 7), and with continued enrolment support, we aim to deliver them year‑round in 2026.
We also launched the Integrated English Scholarship, supporting students who study more than 15 weeks of Integrated English and come from selected countries. This initiative will continue into 2026, helping students to enhance their English language skills as well as enriching diversity within our classrooms.
Our group programs with university partnerships and agents continued to flourish, with 39 group programs joining us in 2025 for Integrated English study tours ranging from 4 to 20 weeks. Many partners enhanced their programs with a Plus component, giving students valuable industry engagement and cultural immersion.
A standout success was a three‑week Allied Health program co‑designed with a Japanese university. Students strengthened their Academic English in the mornings and explored UQ’s cutting‑edge health facilities, sporting precincts, and Movement XControl Physiology workshop in the afternoons. Cultural visits to North Stradbroke Island and Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary enriched the experience. In 2026, the program will expand further with a full‑day workshop at the Mater Hospital. Looking ahead to 2026As we continue to build on our shared successes, we’re excited to support even more students in strengthening their English proficiency and accessing a once‑in‑a‑lifetime opportunity to study at Australia’s No. 1 University—and 28th globally—according to Time Magazine’s first‑ever ranking of the World’s Top Universities. Your partnership is key. Whether you’re arranging group study tours, supporting individual students, or exploring new collaboration opportunities, our team is here to assist.
We’d love to hear your ideas.
Thank you for your continued support. Here’s to our biggest year yet in 2026. |

| | | | "I chose UQ College because it is part of one of the most important and prestigious universities in Australia. I wanted to improve my English in a professional and academic environment, and UQ College is that place.
My favourite thing is the quality of the teachers because they're always helping us, giving lots of advice to improve our English level.
Also, there are many activities that you can do in your free time, like volunteering, sports clubs and events where you can meet people. For example, I'm doing volunteering and am part of a leadership program at the university.
I'm improving my English speaking and listening, and I am meeting professionals too."
