UQ provides an International Student Airport Welcome and Shuttle Service to support new international students as they arrive in Brisbane.
To accommodate students arriving late, the airport welcome and complimentary shuttle service has been extended until 6 March 2026.
Our Welcome Crew will be available at the Brisbane Airport International Terminal from 1 February to 6 March 2026 to greet new students and offer assistance. Students can look for the UQ signs at the terminal if they need help or have any questions.
UQ also offers complimentary 24/7 airport pickups for new international students arriving for the first time between 1 February and 6 March 2026, at both the International and Domestic Terminals. Students can request a pickup by completing the online form and are encouraged to submit their request at least 24 hours before arrival.
When submitting a request, students will need to provide details such as: Please note that the transport provider may charge additional fees for accompanying family or non‑commencing students. Full details are outlined in the online form.
Complimentary pickup is not available outside the specified dates or for returning international students or domestic students.
