昆士兰大学石油工程硕士更名及相关课程信息变化

The Master of Science in Petroleum has undergone a review and has now changed name to Master of Petroleum Engineering. This program will no longer be co-delivered with Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and from 2017 the program will be managed and delivered by The University of Queensland.

This program is a ‘conversion’ master, students from various backgrounds such as engineering, science, mathematics and geology with an appropriate GPA are encouraged to apply. It is characterized by extensive industry networking and high-quality face-to-face delivery with experts, researchers, and leading professors in the field and stands-out from ‘other’ Petroleum programs by including a focus on unconventional gas.

The Master of Petroleum is aimed at professionals who want to use this degree as a stepping stone to progress their career, within their current organisation, or to change industry – in Australia or overseas. Classes are taught in intensive teaching blocks, which allows students to combine study with their full-time employment, and there are good opportunities for industry placements.
