View Online Agent & Partner Updates March 2025 Dear Friends, It has been an action-packed beginning of the year for UQ College with many students enjoying our Australian summer while learning English. A number them have embraced the opportunity to find out more about Brisbane, Australia through our extracurricular activities that our Program Services team and Activities officer have arranged.  Some highlights include visiting Australia Zoo, Brisbane city tours and on campus activities such as market days and basketball and soccer tournaments. Warm wishes, Kate Galati Senior Manager, Business Development New Program Announcement Introducing Online Bridging Courses at UQ College Dates: Program starts 14 April 2025 Duration: Self-directed online study up to 12 months Fees: General Mathematics - $800 | Pure Mathematics - $1,190 UQ College is now offering Online Bridging Courses for General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods.  International students must undertake this course in their home country and have an equivalent IELTS of 5.5 with no band below 5.5 to meet the entry requirements of the course. It is self-directed course, with weekly Zoom check-ins and support from our highly qualified teachers. While the pace of the learning will vary, students investing 15-20 hours per week can expect to complete the program in approximately 10 weeks.  Student will need to have completed the course prior and have certificate of completion before they can meet the UQ entry requirements. We are currently taking expressions of interest so students can start on 14 April 2025.  Find out more >>Study Tours We're still accepting applications for study tours, but be quick as there are limited places available! English and Entrepreneurship Program 2025 - 2 Weeks Enhance your English proficiency and spark your entrepreneurship skills. Perfect for business, engineering and IT students as well as professionals who have a great business idea. This program also includes a guided tour of the vibrant Brisbane city and the stunning North Stradbroke Island. Intake 1 Dates: 21 July to 1 August Intake 2 Dates: 11 August to 22 August   Business Communication and Entrepreneurship Program 2025 - 3 Weeks Improve your English communication skills and develop your entrepreneurial ideas. This program is ideal for students or professionals looking to expand their English language skills in a business context and learning more about Australia. The study tour includes exploring Australian history on North Stradbroke Island, touring Brisbane city, and seeing Australia’s iconic wildlife at Australia Zoo. Intake 1 Dates: 21 July to 8 August Intake 2 Dates: 4 August to 22 August  English Language and Cultural Immersion Program 2025 - 5 Weeks Experience the ultimate cultural immersion study tour while learning English. Our unique program includes tickets to the iconic Ekka – a festival that brings the country and city together for a true celebration of agriculture and all things Australian. Participants will also discover the rich history of North Stradbroke Island, enjoy iconic Australian animals at Australia Zoo, learn all about our famous Queensland Surf Lifesaving Clubs and tour Brisbane city. This program is perfect for gaining an international appreciation and immersing yourself in the Australian way of life.
