Dear Friends,
As we approach the halfway point in the year, I'd like to thank all of our partners and agents who have supported us.
Over the first 5 sessions, we have had our largest number of English students since the pandemic, as our Integrated English program continues to attract students from around the world.
We've also welcomed many student groups from our partner institutions, and we're looking forward to many more booked in for the rest of the year.
Lastly, UQ College has recently relaunched teacher training programs. Thank you for all the enquiries we have already received. This offering is something we are particularly proud to bring back, as it allows us to give
back to our valuable partners around the world by imparting the English language teaching knowledge earned here.
As always, we look forward to our continued partnership and collaboration with you.
Warm wishes,

Integrated English
Streams
|
|
Integrated English (IE) offers something for every student. The program is designed with flexibility at its core, offering a dynamic program that can suit each student’s unique learning
goals.
There are 6 levels, ranging from Preparatory, which has a starting equivalent to IELTS 3.5 with no band below. 3.5, to Level 5, which has a starting equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with no band below.
6.0.
From IE Level 3 onwards (IELTS equivalent 5.0), students can tailor their learning journey by choosing a specialised stream. These streams help learners to focus on what matters most to
them—whether it's everyday fluency, academic preparation, or professional communication.
And the best part? Students can switch streams at the end of each 5-week session, ensuring their path evolves as their priorities and ambitions do.
Combined with the choice of elective classes in IELTS preparation, Oral Communications or Business Communications available at all levels, Integrated English offers one of the most flexible
English learning experiences.
General English |
This is the standard option. General English classes will help students develop confidence in the English language. They’ll increase their ability to understand
conversations and speak with more fluency and clarity. They will also build skills to read and write with greater accuracy. |
Academic English |
Students develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in university. Increase comprehension while learning to write logical sentences, paragraphs and
essays. Communicate effectively in conversation and deliver presentations. Develop the ability to express ideas in academic writing, using the correct vocabulary. |
Business English |
Develop English skills for a business context. Improve speaking skills through group and individual presentations and learn to actively contribute to meetings.
Students will experience real-life business scenarios, become familiar with business terminology and practices, and learn to write various business documents. |
