Discover the latest inspiring stories from our CQUniversity community. This month, we are delighted to announce that CQUniversity Australia has been ranked #25 globally in the 2025 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for its social, environmental, and economic impact.

In this edition, you will find exciting news about our improved enrolment system, which has replaced Easy Enrol. This enhancement streamlines the process for both students and staff, creating a more efficient and user-friendly experience. In addition, the Master of Sustainable Development (CM82) is now available to international students starting Term 2, July 2025.

Ranked #25 in world impact rankings

CQUniversity Australia has been named among the world’s top 25 universities for its social, environmental, and economic impact in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings – up from #52 in 2024.

CQUniversity is gaining recognition as one of Australia’s leading universities in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Vice-Chancellor Professor Nick Klomp attributes this success to a long-term commitment to impactful research, teaching, and engagement.

New enrolment process

Our enrolment process has changed for all undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students. All new students, no matter what course they are studying can now log in to MyCQU to plan their study, confirm their units, and enrol for their first term.

T2 2025 key dates

The next Orientation Week will be held from 7–11 July 2025. Attending Orientation is compulsory for all new international students. Students can refer to MyCQU for advice on how to book orientation events and other FAQs.
