Applications for student accommodation opened on 13 April, giving incoming students the opportunity to secure on‑campus or affiliated housing for their studies. With strong demand expected, we encourage agents to advise students to apply as early as possible to access a range of accommodation options across Hobart, Launceston, and Burnie.
Our accommodation offers a supportive student living experience, with options to suit different budgets and lifestyles, including catered and self‑catered residences close to campus. Our accommodation is a great way for students to meet people and feel settled in their new country faster. |

| Tasmanian Agent Famil Trip | Last week, we were delighted to welcome our Hobart‑based education agents on a familiarisation tour of our Launceston and Burnie campuses. The visit highlighted UTAS’s strong focus on practical, work‑ready learning, giving agents first‑hand insight into how students gain real‑world experience throughout their courses. Agents explored our modern, sustainably designed facilities, experiencing the professional yet relaxed study environments that support student success. The tour commenced with a lunch meeting with our new Director, Bonnie French, who warmly welcomed the group, introduced herself, and engaged with agents on key insights and feedback from the onshore market. Throughout the visit, agents met with academics across disciplines including Architecture and Design, ICT, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Allied Health, and Maritime Studies, gaining valuable exposure to our industry‑aligned teaching and facilities. The program also included a visit to Inveresk student accommodation, showcasing the quality, location, and student lifestyle options available to students studying at our northern campuses |

Autumn Graduations □
We are pleased to celebrate the graduation of over 100 international students who completed their studies during the Summer study period. Most of this cohort graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing at our Sydney campus. We thank our international agent partners for their role in supporting these students from enrolment through to graduation and congratulate our graduates on reaching this milestone.
Congratulations to all our graduates. We wish them all the very best for their next chapters. □□□ |
