UTS College update on UTS suspension of new student intakes from 2026.

Recently, UTS informed you about the suspension of new student intakes for some courses in Semester 1, 2026. We want to share an update on what this means for UTS College and our students.

Are UTS College courses also under review? 

No, UTS College is not part of the University's course review process. While we are part of the University, we are also a separate entity. None of our programs are impacted.

Are any current or future students at UTS College impacted by the changes at the University?  

UTS College, with UTS, undertook an incredibly detailed process and reviewed every student here with us, and every student in our future student pipeline, to identify any who might be impacted by a change to their chosen degree. Only a tiny number of our students will experience an impact to their study plans. 

Next steps

UTS has identified adjustments to study plans for any student impacted and has commenced the detailed communication to each of these students and their agent to let them know of the alternatives for them. 

For students who have not yet joined UTS College and are in your pipeline to us, UTS will contact you and the student if there is any change needed. Your partner manager will be in touch with you if their study plan needs to be adjusted.
