Dear Partner, UTS continually reviews its course offerings as we want to make sure our curriculum is relevant to what students and employers need. We have therefore decided to temporarily suspend new student intakes for some courses up to and including Autumn 2026 semester, based on a range of criteria including enrolment trends over time and relevance of the course to industry. The courses being suspended are those which have low student enrolments.
Over the next few weeks, we will be contacting future students who have applied for or received offers for these courses, letting them know that the intakes are temporarily suspended, and discussing alternative options to help them through the change process. Given the majority of courses that are being temporarily suspended have limited numbers, we anticipate about 5% of international students holding offers may be directly impacted. Some of these students have not yet accepted their offers, others may have conditional offers and some may already be enrolled in pathway programs. If any students you have assisted UTS to recruit are impacted, we will also ensure you are informed. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at reps@uts.edu.au. Information will also be available on the UTS website from Monday, 18 August if students wish to apply for other programs and not wait for the alternative offers being developed by UTS.
While we understand this may cause some inconvenience, please be assured that it's our utmost priority to support every student who has applied to UTS in due course. We remain committed to providing our students with a rewarding and enriching educational experience. Thank you for your understanding and continuous support.
