Dear Valued Partners and Industry Friends,

As we reflect on the first six months of 2025, we’re excited to share the latest information from Canning College.

·         Mid-Year Graduation: We had the pleasure of celebrating the achievements of students who completed the WA Universities’ Foundation Program, the Diploma of Commerce, and the Certificate IV in University Access Program. We wish them every success as they embark on the next chapter of their academic journeys. Click here for videos and award winners

·         July Orientation: Orientation for new students will take place on Monday 21 July. Timetables will be distributed in the morning of Tuesday 22 July, with classes beginning from 11am on that day.  

·         Visa and Arrival Support: We kindly remind our agent partners to notify us once students have received their visa grants and if they require assistance with airport pick-up. Canning College provides free airport pick-up for new students arriving in Perth for the first time to commence their studies with the College.

·         2026 Program Intakes: Applications remain open for students wishing to join Canning College in 2026. We continue to accept IGCSE, GCE O Level and SPM preliminary or forecast results for applications to the WA Universities’ Foundation Program for February 2026 intake.

·         Contact Updates: All student application enquiries and submissions should be directed to: canning.col.admissions@education.wa.edu.au For airport pickups, accommodation queries and general enquiries, please use: canning.col.info@education.wa.edu.au

·         Student Commissions: If your student is currently enrolled and continuing with us in Semester 2, 2025, please note that commissions claims can be submitted once tuition fees for the semester have been received. Invoices were sent to students in June with fees due yesterday (14 July).

·         New Program Offering: Canning College will be introducing increased language opportunities for students in its new Centre for Intensive English. The program is suitable for students seeking English support prior to joining a Canning College standard academic program.

·         Academic Workshops: Current Year 12 WA Universities' Foundation Program and WA Certificate of Education students in Perth during the two-week semester break were invited to attend complimentary academic workshops in Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Psychology, Maths Applications, and Maths Methods. Additional workshops and revision classes will be offered later in the year to support students preparing for their final WAUFP and WACE exams.
