Hope you are doing well!
We’re pleased to share that VU Global Research Scholarship (20% off tuition fees for the entire duration of study) will continue for 2026 intakes (Research Period 1 or 2, 2026), available across all research programs. Since each program caters to different cohorts of students. Below is a quick overview of the entry requirements for your easy reference:
VU 全球研究奖学金（覆盖整个学习期间学费的 20% 减免）将继续面向 2026 年入学（2026 年第 1 或第 2 研究学期）开放，所有研究类项目均可申请。由于各项目面向的学生群体不同，以下为您简要概述各项目的入学要求，供您快速参考
| Course | Academic Entry Requirements | English Language Requirement |
| Master of Research (1.5 years) | Bachelor degree (AQF7) in the same discipline with Distinction in the final year, OR | IELTS 6.5/6.0 or equivalent Students who have completed at least 2 years of tertiary study onshore within the past 5 years will NOT be required to provide IELTS. |
| Bachelor Honours degree (AQF8) in a different discipline with Distinction | ||
| Master of Applied Research (2 years) | Bachelor degree (AQF7) or higher in any discipline with Distinction in the final year, OR | |
| Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (4 years) | Bachelor Honours Degree (AQF8) in a similar discipline with Distinction in the final year, OR | |
| Master by Coursework degree (AQF9) in a similar discipline thesis with Distinction, OR | ||
| Master by Research (AQF 9) in a similar discipline with Distinction | ||
| Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) (4 years) | Bachelor Honours Degree (AQF8) in a different discipline with Distinction in the final year, OR | |
| Master by Coursework degree (AQF9) in any discipline, not including a thesis, with Distinction, OR |
