VC's China visit for agent engagement event |
In January, CDU hosted a successful agent engagement event in Shanghai, bringing together over 20 agent partners from across China. The event was honoured by the presence of Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott, Vice-President Shannon, and Ms Amy, Director of the Confucius Institute. The Vice-Chancellor shared key updates on the Northern Territory, Darwin, and Charles Darwin University, highlighting CDU’s strong graduate employment outcomes in Australia, as well as the university’s plans to establish new campuses in London and Adelaide. The session also featured a comprehensive presentation by Clare Shen, Regional Manager. CDU’s program portfolio, entry requirements, key application timelines for the China market, and application pathways for research degrees, including self-funded PhD options, were outlined. The event concluded with a networking lunch, providing valuable opportunities for in-depth discussion and further strengthening collaboration with our valued agent partners. |
CDU Global Partner Briefing & Appreciation Lunch in Sydney |
In late January, Charles Darwin University, CDU Global welcomed its onshore Sydney agent partners to the Partner Briefing & Appreciation Lunch in Sydney, an event designed to strengthen local engagement and recognise the vital role agents play in supporting international student recruitment.
Hosted by Ivy Chung, Associate Director – Student Growth, alongside Emily Duckett, International Admissions Manager, and Cheryl Brennan, Regional Marketing Manager, the event provided a valuable platform for open dialogue, relationship-building, and reflection on our shared progress.
The session focused on practical updates to CDU’s strategic development plans for the year ahead, reinforcing our commitment to transparent communication, strong partnerships, and ensuring agents are well-equipped to support prospective students. |
