From our rising global rankings to impactful events, fresh student support initiatives, and inspiring mobility stories, this edition celebrates the momentum we’re building together with your continued support. CDU is proud to have risen in the QS World University Rankings 2025, moving up to #584 from #621–630 — bucking the national trend, as more than 70% of Australian universities saw a drop. Here’s what’s driving our rise: Ranked #154 globally and #15 in Australia for International Student Diversity Jumped 92 places globally for International Students – now #18 in Australia Improved 44 places globally for International Faculty – now #34 in Australia Stronger research impact – rising to #23 in Australia for Citations per Faculty This improvement proves our commitment to global partnership, research excellence, and high-quality inclusive education. We’re pleased to confirm that CDU’s international tuition fees and scholarships for 2026 are now finalised. This update provides agents with certainty as you begin planning and advising prospective students for upcoming intakes. On 20 June, CDU hosted a successful Senior Leadership Session with 25 top-performing education agents at our Sydney campus. The event featured updates from Assoc. Vice-Chancellor Sascha Jenkins andCDU Global Director Adam Lam, who outlined CDU’s strategic vision and recent achievements. Regional Marketing Manager Cheryl Brennan led a live survey and Q&A, gathering real-time agent feedback on recruitment, admissions, and marketing support. Agents appreciated the transparent, open discussion and the chance to shape CDU’s direction. The feedback collected will directly inform how we improve support for agents and students moving forward. This session demonstrated CDU’s strong commitment to collaboration and shared growth with our valued partners. From 27–30 May 2025, CDU hosted its annual Agent Familiarisation Tour in Darwin, welcoming 13 agents from across Asia and Australia. Supported by the Study NT Cooperative Marketing Fund, this immersive experience showcased CDU’s campuses and the Territory lifestyle. Key highlights: First visit to Darwin for all agents Tours of Casuarina, Palmerston and Danala campuses Meetings with CDU staff, current students, and industry partners Cultural highlights like Mindil Beach Markets and a Darwin Harbour cruise A social media campaign (#CDUFamTour25) saw strong global engagement Agents left inspired by CDU’s strong student support and the unique advantages of studying in Darwin. On 14 June, CDU proudly participated in the Nepal Festival Darwin 2025, held at the Darwin Waterfront. This vibrant event celebrated Nepalese culture with food, music, dance, and community spirit. CDU Vice-Chancellor Scott Bowman, CDU Global Director Adam Lam, and CDU Global staff joined thousands at this award-winning festival, recognising the importance of CDU’s Nepali student community. The festival was a joyful reminder of the diversity and vibrancy that international students bring to CDU and the Darwin community. We’re excited to launch two support initiatives for Semester 2, 2025: CDU Buddy Program – connecting new international students with senior student mentors for guidance and friendship.Facebook Group – now live and growing rapidly, this private group allows new international students to connect, ask questions, and feel welcomed before arriving on campus. These initiatives complement our existing support services, and are already generating massive student engagement, ensuring that every international student feels welcomed and connected from day one. CDU Global recently partnered with a local production company to film a dynamic new video series showcasing our global mobility programs and vibrant student life. Filming is taking place across CDU’s campuses and the Top End, from Darwin Harbour to the iconic Kakadu National Park! A standout moment was capturing the visit by Oklahoma State University students to the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre and Bushfires NT, showcasing CDU’s unique hands-on learning opportunities in emergency management and disaster response. These stories highlight the real impact of exchange, study abroad, and internship programs at CDU. Stay tuned as we release this content for recruitment toolkits and social media.
