English (PSE) courses are designed to help international students
develop the academic language skills needed for success in their degree
programmes. These courses focus on improving English proficiency, as
well as essential academic skills such as essay writing, critical
thinking, and seminar participation.Students may need PSE if they
do not meet the direct English language entry requirements for their
chosen course or if they want to enhance their confidence in using
academic English before starting their studies. Completing a PSE
programme successfully can often fulfil the language requirements
without needing to retake a language test.The University typically offers Pre-Sessional English (PSE) courses ranging from 6 to 11 weeks:Online – 8 weeks & 11 weeks On-campus – 6 weeks & 11 weeksOnline PSE – 11 weeksEntry requirements: No more than one overall IELTS band below degree requirement with no skills lower than IELTS 5.0.Start date: 30 May 2025Fee: £2,310Application deadline:

options are the most popular choices among students. If you are

series designed for international students at all levels who have not
yet applied - undergraduate (UG), postgraduate taught (PGT), and
postgraduate research (PGR). These sessions will provide valuable
insights into key topics such as scholarships, accommodation, student
life, part-time work opportunities, careers support, and life in Dundee.
Featuring contributions from staff, current students, and alumni, each
webinar will also include interactive Q&A segments. A full schedule

encounter any issues with tagging an application, please contact agents@dundee.ac.uk, who will investigate and liaise with the relevant colleagues as needed.Please
be reminded that agent switching is not permitted except in exceptional
circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our
