二、重要招生信息更新

1，为了支持更好的规划，我们正在为2026年和2027年入学的本科生和研究生课程项目实施更早、标准化的申请截止日期。

2026 and 2027 application closing dates

To support better planning, we are implementing earlier, standardised application closing dates for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs for the 2026 and 2027 intakes.

*Late applications will only be accepted for programs with places remaining. Students are encouraged to apply by the timely application deadline to maximise their chances of receiving an offer.

Please ensure students are informed of these updates. Some courses still have specific assessment methods and timelines that require different application deadlines. For specific course application deadlines, please continue to check the course page on the Study website.

Transition to online agent enquiry form

To improve response times, the University is introducing a streamlined process for authorised education agent enquiries. From 14 April, all authorised education agents are asked to submit their enquiries through a new webform to contact the Admissions team. 

Education agents can submit general or applicant-specific enquiries through the form, which will replace emails you would usually send to the above email addresses.

Emails that have already been sent to the above email addresses will be responded to as per our previous process. We will look to close these accounts by the end of May 2025.

Meeting maths prerequisites for UG degrees

The University offers a 9-week online Calculus and Probability course to help students meet mathematics entry requirements. The course runs in March and August. Registrations open in July.

English requirement update – Health

The following programs have revised their English language requirements, effective immediately:

The new IELTS score required is 7.0 overall, with a minimum score of 7.0 in Writing and no band less than 6.5. For further information, including scores for other accepted English language tests, please refer to the information here.

Application closing date for Arts PhD

The Faculty of Arts has changed the graduate research degree application closing date to 15 August 2025 for the start-year 2026 intake. Application outcomes are expected to be sent in mid-October. More information is available here. This adjustment aims to give students outcomes earlier so that they have more time to prepare for travel to Melbourne.

Updated application timelines for Fine Arts and Music

Application timelines for Fine Arts and Music graduate programs have changed. From 2025, applications will be assessed in two main rounds instead of on a rolling basis. These changes apply to applicants seeking entry in the February 2026 intake.

Round 1 applications open in April 2025 and close at the end of May 2025. Applicants will receive an early outcome by the end of June 2025. We strongly encourage applying in Round 1 to allow ample time for visa processing and preparation.

Round 2 opens in July 2025, with outcomes released by the end of November 2025.

To be considered for admission, applicants must submit both an online course application via the University’s website and a supplementary performance assessment through SlideRoom. Both components are required for the application to be assessed.
