We hope you're doing well. Below are the latest updates from us for this month.

General Updates

• Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary or Secondary) – Update on English Requirement
  Great news! The Admissions Committee has approved an English entry requirement of IELTS 7.0 (7.0) for this program. Entry requirements have been updated on the website and applications are open for T3-July intake 2025 for Perth, Gold Coast, and Online (NSV). This program has garnered strong interest from our partners since its launch in February. • Master of Nursing T4 August Intake - Gold Coast 
  The intake is still open for applications for the Gold Coast campus.
• Celebrating a Successful Event in Vietnam 
  Thank you to everyone who attended our Access25 and Hotel School launch event in Vietnam this March. Your presence helped make it a great success. Congratulations to all the recipients of the Top Offshore Agent Awards
• Southern Cross University’s Rising QS Ranking 
  In the 2025 QS Word University Ranking, Southern Cross University achieved its highest-ever ranking at #576, marking a significant improvement from the previous year. We are optimistic about further advancements in 2026.
• Brand Research Survey
  We are conducting brand research through our partner, Fiftyfive5, and will be reaching out to our global agents to complete a short survey. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us gather important data. The survey will be sent to your email address. By participating in the survey, you'll have a chance to win a $500 eGift voucher or one of the five $100 eGift vouchers. We would greatly appreciate your participation. 

• If commencing students receive invoices for fees they have already paid, please direct them to fees@scu.edu.au for assistance. This is more likely to occur for students who accept and pay late.
• Please ensure financial documents are submitted to the Department of Home Affairs for student visa applications from onshore Level 3 countries and for Level 1 and Level 2 country students who have been in Australia for an extended period.
• We recently encountered a visa refusal due to an application being submitted without all required documents. The decision was made within a day. Given the fast processing times, submitting incomplete applications with plans to supply the documents later can negatively impact students. Please ensure all necessary documents are included at the time of submission.
