从化学工程专业转到听力学专业，拿下 5 所英国名校 offer 后，他为何选择南安预科？在留学申请的道路上，有人因语言成绩困扰，有人因跨专业感到迷茫。今天采访的主人公赵哲，本科就读于暨南大学化学工程与工艺专业，GPA2.9+。手握南安在内5所英国前百名校 offer，因雅思口语6.0未达听力学专业6.5要求，需要上语言班。最终，他选择南安普顿大学硕士预科（Pre-Master），不仅实现了从化学到听力学的跨专业过渡，更在学术能力上完成了提升。这次采访，我们就来听听他的真实经历与感悟吧~姓名丨赵哲本科丨暨南大学（211）1为什么选择南安预科？不只是 “语言补救”，更是跨专业的 “桥梁”最初，赵哲和很多人一样，以为 Pre-Master 只是 “延长版语言班”，但真正入学后才发现，它的价值远不止于此：衔接中英教育模式：预科从去年9月到今年8月共3个学期，第一个学期以学术英语 （Academic English）打基础，第二和第三个学期加入研究方法论（如定性与定量分析）、学术论文写作（含文献综述）、研究和数学素养技能、个人就业能力发展、团队合作 课程，填补了国内本科在英文科研写作上的空白。跨专业的 “缓冲带”：从化学工程跨到听力学，他需要面对全新的专业领域。南安听力学隶属于工程学院声学研究院，接受工科背景申请，且在英国排名第二、英格兰第一。预科课程提前帮助熟悉学术内容，避免了直接入读硕士的断层感。“如果没读预科，既要学听力学专业知识（比如人工耳蜗、纯音测试），又要适应学术写作，难度会翻倍。” 赵哲这样总结。2预科学习难不难？循序渐进 + 把握机会，低分也能逆袭最初，赵哲和很多人一样，以为 Pre-Master 只是 “延长版语言班”，但真正入学后才发现，它的价值远不止于此：提到预科难度，赵哲坦言 “初期会吃力”，但 3 学期的课程设置让难度 “循序渐进”：最难课程：定性与定量分析（Qualitative & Quantitative Research Method），国内本科接触少，要取得高分并不容易。但他最终将成绩从初交的71分提升到 80+ 分。提分关键：南安预科有作业多次优化机会——交前和老师沟通修改、第一次递交后根据反馈修改、第二次递交定最终分。他身边有同学因未利用好这些机会，均分没有达到他的水平，而他目前已出成绩中，80分以上占比极高（英国及格线为 40 分）。不过，小组作业也曾让他 “栽跟头”：一次四人小组报告，组员划水，他作为组长虽尽力修改，仍只拿到 61 分。但他也理解，这正是预科培养 “团队问题解决能力” 的初衷——毕竟未来工作中，也会遇到类似挑战。3南安生活与社交：别样英伦体验学习之余，赵哲的南安生活也格外充实日常：“健身充电”，他住在海菲校区附近，每周去大学健身房锻炼3-4 次，是难得的放松时间。听力学相关志愿服务：今年4-5 月，他在海菲校区附近的听障与盲人服务中心做志愿者，观察专业人员给70多岁英国老人做听力检查，与英国、迪拜的听力学本科生交流，既锻炼了口语，也提前接触了未来的职业场景。生活贴士：初到英国别慌！他分享了自己的经历，落地希思罗机场时未提前规划，打车到南安花了130 磅，其实可选火车（约 30-40 磅）或机场大巴（21磅直达学校），提前用社交软件或AI 规划，能省不少时间和费用。4给学弟学妹的 3 点建议学长的超实用建议学习上：抓住预科的 “提分机制”：作业的两次递交机会、老师的反馈、交前沟通，每一步都别浪费，认真优化就能拉开差距。生活上：提前规划是省钱省时秘诀：无论是交通、住宿，还是假期旅行，用ChatGPT、Deepseek等工具做规划。心态上：跨专业不可怕，预科是 “过渡神器”。如果和他一样想跨专业，别担心基础不足，预科的课程会帮你补全学术能力，提前适应专业领域。写在最后：从最初因雅思成绩焦虑，到如今从容应对预科学习、明确未来方向，赵哲用自己的经历证明：预科不是 “无奈之选”，而是 “主动优化的跳板”。今年 9 月，他将正式入读南安听力学硕士，继续在自己选择的道路上前进。如果你也在为留学语言、跨专业发愁，或许赵哲的经历能给你一些启发——有时候，一个合适的选择，能让未来的路走得更稳、更远。

As we move into the busy summer period, we’ll be in touch more frequently with key updates and opportunities to assist with your student recruitment.Following our several PGT application fee waiver weeks throughout this cycle, we are removing the application fee for the time being. Wun Chan, BSc Occupational Therapy International Clearing opens on 5 July 2025. Students can still apply through the standard route until 30 June.Clearing gives another chance for students to apply, whether they didn’t meet their offer conditions, did better than expected and want to explore other options, or simply haven't applied to a university course yet.
