International students can save up to 20% with a Swinburne scholarship

International students are eligible for scholarships of up to 20% offered by Swinburne.

When international students apply for a Swinburne course, we’ll automatically consider them for an international scholarship, so they do not need to apply separately for a scholarship to be considered.

Master of Information Technology and Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing)

Both the Master of Information Technology and Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) are designed for students who wish to master theoretical and practical IT skills, including design, operations and data management.

So, what are the key differences between courses?

Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing)

Available to students with a recognised bachelor degree in an information technology-related discipline covering at least the fundamental knowledge of computer programming, web system development, database, and business applications of computer systems
A total of 10 units over four semesters
37.5 credit points per semester

Master of Information Technology

Available to students with a bachelor degree in any discipline, so are not required to have studied an IT course previously
A total of 14 units over four semesters
50 credit points per semester

Swinburne partners with Oracle to provide industry experience

Swinburne has partnered with multinational technology company Oracle to provide students from the School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship with valuable industry experience.

This collaboration offers students a chance to access technical cloud-based training programs across various disciplines in addition to industry exposure.

Upon completing the modules, students obtain digital badges they can display on social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
