These exclusive offers for students are available until 31 May 2025. We encourage you to review the incentives below and act early to secure the benefits for your students and your team.

Visa update: priority processing

Under MD111, Priority 1 – High processing is currently in effect for offshore students applying to Swinburne's higher education and vocational education and training sectors.

With stable and reliable conditions in Australian international education this month, now is the ideal time to encourage students to apply and accept their Swinburne offers. By acting now, they can take advantage of current opportunities and be well-prepared for their upcoming studies.

Please remember that all visa-related advice must be provided by registered migration professionals or the Department of Home Affairs.

Incentives for early acceptances

Swinburne is pleased to offer an incentive to students for early acceptances into higher education and vocational education and training courses commencing in Semester 2 2025.

Travel grant for offshore students

New offshore students who accept their Semester 2 2025 offer by 31 May 2025 are eligible to receive a travel grant of $900. The travel grant is a one-off rebate to the student and is in addition to any scholarship that the student has received. The rebate is deducted from the students' following semester tuition fees if they remain enrolled at Swinburne.

New course: Master of Educational Leadership

For students ready to elevate their leadership in education, Swinburne’s Master of Educational Leadership equips them with the skills to lead with confidence, clarity and compassion. Students will learn from world-class industry experts using the latest pedagogical innovations including master classes, personalised coaching, keynotes and applied workshops.

Throughout the course, students will gain real-world insights and applications of contemporary theories and practices in educational leadership and, in the final stages, will collaborate with an assigned coach to develop a small-scale research project that consolidates learning within an educational workplace.

Upon completion, students may find employment opportunities in leadership roles across a variety of educational contexts including those within early, primary and secondary teaching environments.

At Swinburne, students can apply for both the Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Teaching and Master of Educational Leadership as a two-year study package. This means students can enrol and successfully complete the Graduate Diploma, and then directly begin the Master coursework without further applications for admissions. Students will then graduate with two postgraduate qualifications at the end of their studies.

Master of Educational Leadership grant for onshore students

Onshore students who apply through a Swinburne education agent and accept their Master of Educational Leadership offer by 31 May 2025 are eligible for a $500 grant. This also includes students who apply for the Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Teaching packaged with the Master of Educational Leadership. This grant can be used to support visa application fees or to extend Overseas Student Health Cover.

The grant is a one-off rebate to the student and is in addition to any scholarship that the student has received. The rebate is deducted from the students' following quarter tuition fees if they remain enrolled at Swinburne.
