New Term 4 for August 2027 Diploma Students
Students commencing their Diploma studies in August 2027 will begin their program in the newly created Term 4. This change supports alignment with UNSW Sydney’s transition to a Semester academic structure from 2028 and ensures students can progress smoothly into their bachelor degree, with no change to the overall program duration.
Students starting in Term 4 will commence their studies on 30 August 2027 before progressing into their UNSW bachelor degree in Semester 2, 2028. Please refer to our website for full details.
The Academic English programs schedule is currently under review, and information about the 2027 intakes will be shared on our website shortly.
Bachelor of Aviation (Flying) effective for 2027 entry
The UNSW Bachelor of Aviation (Flying) admissions process has changed for 2027. Instead of interviews, students applying through Foundation Studies with a packaged offer will now complete an online Aptitude Admissions Test, making the process more standardised and accessible.
For more information, you may register for the UNSW Aviation Information Session on Wednesday, 18 March 2026 | 6:00–7:00 pm AEDT (Online) .
